by Foot or Bicycle

Vehicle Parking
If you are hiking or bicycling to the Inn via the Old Stage Road, the closest overnight vehicle parking is available on a first-come basis in the parking lot at the Pan Toll Ranger Station @ 3801 Panoramic Highway at Pan Toll Road. The fee is $8.00 as of 5-2011.
If you elect to park on the roadway instead of in the Pan Toll Ranger Station parking lot, please note that overnight vehicle parking is not permitted beyond the gate across Pan Toll Road, which is locked at sunset.
Additional overnight vehicle parking is also available on a first-come basis in the parking lot across Panoramic Highway from Mountain Home Inn @ 810 Panoramic Highway, Mill Valley, CA at no charge. Click to show map of recommended parking
Public Transit
Marin Transit offers daily scheduled bus service (Route 61) to the Pan Toll Ranger Station on Panoramic Highway. For more information click to view the Marin Transit schedule.

The Inn’s physical (but not mailing) address is 100 Old Railroad Grade Fire Road, at Old Stage Fire Road, Mill Valley, CA. The Inn is located at 37.9166°N 122.5938°W at an elevation of 1,781 feet (543 meters) above sea level. The clouds that often cover the Marin headlands and Bay Area are usually below the Inn’s elevation.
